Robin Jones
Profile
Robin qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and worked in private practice in North Wales before joining the North Wales Prosecuting Solicitors Department in 1985. He transferred to the Crown Prosecution Service (“CPS”) in 1986, where he worked until March 2012.
During that period, Robin dealt with a wide range of cases and carried a varied and serious caseload. He was involved in national training in the CPS from 2001. From 2008 until he left the organisation, Robin held the position of Legal Development Manager, designing and delivering training to a range of staff on legal subjects such as the law in relation to youths to skills training such as advocacy.
Robin is an experienced magistrates’ court advocate, having appeared in court for over 35 years. He is also an experienced advocacy assessor.
